About IHC

Where is IHC Technology located?+

IHC Technology is based in Inverness, Florida — the county seat of Citrus County. We serve businesses throughout the Nature Coast and Central Florida.

What areas do you serve?+

Our primary service area is Citrus County — Inverness, Crystal River, Homosassa, Lecanto, Beverly Hills, Hernando, and Dunnellon. We also work with clients throughout Central and North Florida, from Apopka to Bradenton.

Do you work with businesses outside Florida?+

Most of our work is Florida-based for the local context advantage. We'll occasionally take on remote-only website or SEO projects for businesses outside the state when the fit makes sense.

Do you work with nonprofits or small budgets?+

Yes. Nonprofits, startups, and small budgets are welcome — we're a small business ourselves and we understand what tight budgets look like. We're honest about what's possible at different budget levels and we'll tell you when a project doesn't make sense to take on.

Website builds & ownership

How long does a website build take?+

Most small business sites go from kickoff to launch in 2 to 6 weeks depending on scope and how fast content and feedback move. Rush timelines are possible when the scope supports it.

Do you build on WordPress or custom?+

Both. WordPress for clients who need to update their own content. Custom HTML for faster, simpler sites. React for interactive web apps. We pick the right tool for the job, not the one we happen to sell.

Can you update an existing website?+

Yes. We do audits, targeted fixes, redesigns, and full rebuilds. Sometimes a focused half-day of work solves 80% of the problems. Other times a rebuild is the right move. We'll tell you honestly which one applies.

Do you host websites?+

Yes. Most client sites are hosted on Netlify (our preferred platform for speed and reliability) or the client's existing host if they have one. Hosting management is included or available as an add-on depending on the engagement.

Who owns the website and content when you're done?+

You do. Full ownership, full access to the code, full ability to move to another provider if you ever want to. We don't hold sites hostage or use proprietary systems that lock you in.

What happens if my website breaks?+

If we built it and host it, we fix it. For clients on monthly support plans, this is included. For project-only clients, we offer emergency response at an hourly rate. Most issues get resolved the same day.

// SEO & AI Search

Getting found online

How does SEO work? How fast can I rank?+

SEO is a long game. Most clients see meaningful movement in 3 to 6 months and compounding returns after that. Anyone promising you #1 rankings in 30 days is lying. We focus on sustainable, white-hat tactics that don't get you penalized when Google updates its algorithm.

What is AI search optimization?+

Also called GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). It's the practice of structuring your website and content so AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI overviews cite your business in their answers. It overlaps with classic SEO but requires specific schema, content structure, and entity-recognition work.

Do you guarantee SEO results?+

No legitimate SEO provider guarantees specific rankings — Google's algorithms are complex and constantly changing. What we do guarantee is a strategic, data-driven approach, transparent monthly reporting, and a real commitment to improving your visibility and generating measurable business outcomes.

// Drone & Video

Aerial & production

Are you a licensed drone pilot?+

Yes. IHC Technology holds an active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, which is required for legal commercial drone operations in the United States. All flights follow FAA protocol including airspace authorization, weather checks, and proper insurance coverage.

Can you fly drones over my business or event?+

In most cases, yes. Controlled airspace near airports requires FAA authorization (LAANC) which we handle as part of flight planning. Some areas, like directly over non-participating people or certain restricted zones, require additional waivers. We'll let you know upfront if your location has constraints.

// Billing & Contracts

How we get paid

How much does a website cost?+

It depends on scope. Simple one-pager sites start lower, full multi-page business builds with custom design and SEO run higher, and complex web apps or e-commerce are quoted by scope. We discuss specifics during the free consultation once we understand what you actually need.

Do you require contracts or retainers?+

Website builds are scoped projects with clear deliverables. Ongoing services — SEO, social media, hosting, video, support — are month-to-month by default. No long-term contracts required. If the work isn't earning its keep, you walk.

How do I pay? Do you take credit cards?+

We invoice via QuickBooks or Stripe. Credit cards, ACH, and checks all accepted. Project work is typically billed 50% up front and 50% at launch. Monthly services are billed at the start of each billing cycle.

// Starting a Project

Kicking things off

What do you need from me to start a project?+

For a free consultation: nothing but a conversation. For a project kickoff: your brand assets if you have them (logo, colors, fonts), existing content or written notes about what you want, reference sites you like, and contact details for your key stakeholders. We'll build you an intake checklist during discovery.

How do I get started?+

The contact form on this site is the fastest way — it lands in our inbox and we respond within one business day, usually faster. You can also email aj@ihctech.us directly, or call/text 352-302-3424.

Still have questions?

The best way to get a real answer is a real conversation. Free consultation, zero pressure, straight talk.
