Doug had a meeting coming up with Robinson Helicopter about becoming an authorized dealer. He wanted to walk in with the website already built — and he wanted it to feel like buying directly from Robinson, the way a good Mercedes dealer's site feels like Mercedes.

That's a specific brief, and it's the right one. Car dealers figured this out decades ago: when you carry a manufacturer's name, your site should carry their look. Robinson buyers are shopping a known machine, and the dealer's job is to be the most credible place to buy it.

What we built

Factory-uniform design. Robinson's colors, Robinson's typography, and once the agreement went live, "Crown Helicopters, Authorized Robinson Dealer" everywhere it should be. The team shared Robinson's official dealer ad kit so the logo use is right.

New models on one page, inventory on another. The current Robinson lineup lives on its own page. The in-house inventory — new and used units Crown actually has — is a separate page built like a certified pre-owned listing, because that's how buyers compare.

Inventory the team runs themselves. Crown's stock turns over too fast to route changes through an agency. So the site has a staff admin where their own people add and remove aircraft, and every form submission lands in the same place as a lead.

Build yours, sell yours. A "Your Robinson. Your Way." section pulls Robinson's configurator imagery into a customization walkthrough, and a sell-or-trade page makes the offer plainly. Crown's line: if it doesn't eat, they'll consider it on trade.

Nationwide, on purpose. Crown sells across the whole country, so the copy says so. Every local-only reference came out at the client's request.

The timing

The Robinson agreement went live September 9. The site was already built, so the authorized-dealer switch flipped that day, and the site went public on crownhelicopters.com on September 17 with Google Search Console verified and the sitemap submitted the same day. Now the work is the slow part — dealer marketplace profiles, the Business Profile, reviews — the stuff that moves a brand-new domain up the page for "helicopter sales Florida."

Carrying a manufacturer's name? Your site should too.
