Twysted Vyne got its website back.
Keith Shewbart's wine bar on Courthouse Square has live music six nights a week, trivia, jazz, and Tuesday nights that fill the room for Inverness Icon. For years the website lived on a rented restaurant platform — the kind where you pay monthly and still can't really change anything.
Keith cares about search more than most owners. People find Twysted Vyne by typing "wine bar Inverness" into a phone, and he didn't want a redesign to cost him that. So the rebuild had two rules: don't lose a single ranking, and don't put anything on the site that isn't true.
What we built
A site that's the experience. One homepage that feels like walking in on a Friday, then separate pages for the menu, events, private events and catering. Dark, warm, built around the room and the music.
The real menu. Keith's printed menu — actual items, actual prices, wine pairings per entrée — is the source of truth. Nothing invented to fill space.
No fake reservations. Twysted Vyne is first come, first served, so every "book a table" button and form came off the site. The phone number is for private events and catering, which is what it's actually for.
A calendar that updates itself. Trivia, jazz and the weekend artists are published as dated events Google can read, weeks out. And Maddy on the Twysted Vyne side has her own login to keep the lineup current — her entries publish straight to the live site without going through us.
The cutover. The new site went live on September 10 on the same domain, with the old platform kept alive a few weeks as a safety net and then cancelled. Search Console moved over the same week.
What changed for Keith
He owns the site now. The monthly bill for the rented platform goes away, the calendar stays current without a phone call to us, and when a visitor searches for live music in downtown Inverness, the thing they find is accurate.
Why we're telling you this
A lot of restaurants and bars in Citrus County are paying monthly for a site they don't own and can't change. If that's you, we can move it — same domain, nothing lost in search, and your own people updating it afterward.
